The DDOS attack from the other day impacted Twitter,Facebook and Livejournal. I read something yesterday that said Blogger was having a similar is problems yesterday.
Are all the script kidlets bored? Sheesh!

I think I got lost in Italy. There are so many awesome places to learn about.

The Colosseum is so amazing – a beautiful example of the great architecture in Italy.

Verona is simply breathtaking!

Odd Little Place on the Internet

Today I found a really weird place called Blogshares. It’s an internet share trading game based on blogs. Who would have thought such a thing existed?

I’m wandering around the pages wondering what kind of people would play this. Ideas? How do you get a consumable thing called an idea from a blog that you then buy, trade, sell? Artifacts? Someone couldn’t spell evidently.

There are some odd names on there too. RUSerious? No. I’m not. But evidently that guy is. IslandDave? If he’s on an island, why does he care about blogs?

I think I’ll stick around and learn more about this game.

Tribute bands are cool — especially when they cover bands that I love. As a child of the 80′s I fell in love with the Cure much to my parents’ chagrin. I miss their music on the airwaves, but I have plenty on my iPod to keep my happy.

What is the furtherest point to which you have traveled? Have you been to the Artic Circle or the Equatorial region? Have you climbed the Himalyans or explored underwater caves off the coast of Australia?

Many people will never get the chance to do such seemingly exotic things. Through the “magic” of the internet, though, we can all experience more than our parents and grandparents even dared imagine.

I love this blogabout I’m on. I am not getting to post as often as I would like but as I get the opportunity, I will post more information about the bloggerific places I have been!

I find it endless amusing that people start blogs about toys. I don’t mean collectibles but just toys like My Little Pony or in this case, Littlest Pet Shop. All across America there are grown women with rooms full of tiny big-eyed pieces of plastic adorning their shelves.

What is Twitter

I ran across this blog about something called Twitter. What the heck is Twitter?

140 character “micr0-blogging”? Really? Who the heck wants to do that? And why?

According to Twitter Facts as of January there were something like 750,000 members with about 450,000 considered “active” accounts. Some are predicting Twitter will hit 1 million users by March.

I don’t know. It seems so random.
